Pricing on Recommend Explained
At Recommend, our mission is to help our partners lower their customer acquisition costs, drive more sales and traffic to their webshops, and enable them with tools that enhance the shopping experience of their existing and new customers. We offer flexible pricing plans that are suitable for businesses of all sizes, and the most important thing to understand is that our partners only pay for their marketing efforts when a conversion happens. This allows them to spend their marketing budget meaningfully and stay in control of their budget and results.
Payment Plans and Billing Explained
Recommend offers four payment plans that cater to businesses of all sizes:
- Free plan - pay as you grow
- Flex plan 19 € per month
- Growth Plan 59 € per month
- Scale Plan 150 € per month
Each plan allows merchants to upload a certain number of products and provides additional tools based on the plan they choose. The billing page can be found on the Business Account -> Billing on the navigation panel. Here, merchants can view their plan cost, the number of products they can upload, their wallet balance, the amount they need to pay to Recommend for conversions that drive traffic to their webshop, their company information for invoices, and their payment history.
Marketing Fee Explained
Recommend charges a commission for each sale that comes through our platform. This fee is not a conversion fee; instead, it comes out of the marketing efforts of each company. We understand that customer acquisition costs have increased by 222% on other social platforms in the past eight years. Therefore, Recommend allows merchants to spend money only when their marketing efforts are successful and lead to a sale. Part of the commission that is paid by the merchant goes towards the shopper as a reward for choosing their brand. We reward shoppers for recommending or purchasing your products!
How to Upgrade Your Plan
We allow our merchants to pick the payment plan that suits their business needs. If a merchant wishes to upgrade or downgrade their plan, we make it very easy to do so:
- Go to the Business Account tab, which can be found on the settings on the top right of the Recommend page.
- Click on the "Payment plans" tab on the navigation panel.
- Choose the plan you would like to enable.
- Click on "Secure payment."
- You will be redirected to Stripe's page to complete the payment.
- Fill out the appropriate information and complete the payment.
- Your payment plan has been updated!
