WooCommerce integration
Step 1: Download our Plugin
The first step to integrating your WooCommerce webshop with Recommend is to download our plugin from the WordPress plugin directory. Step 2: Activate the Plugin
Once you have successfully downloaded our plugin, navigate to the 'Settings' tab on the left-hand side of your WordPress dashboard. You should see our plugin listed there. Click on it to activate the plugin.
Step 3: Add Your API Token
Now that the plugin is active, you need to add your API token to connect your webshop to our marketing platform. Your API token can be found on the Recommend Business tab -> Integration page under the API keys section. Copy and paste this token into the appropriate field in the plugin settings.
Step 4: Perform Conversion Test
After adding your API token, it's time to perform a conversion test to ensure everything is working correctly. Simply press the 'Testing' button in the plugin settings, and follow the sub steps below:
- Find one of the products you have listed on the Recommend page and click on the "Buy Now" button. You will be redirected to your webshop.
- Add the product to your shopping cart. This step should complete the testing process.
- Navigate back to the Recommend platform and go to the "Analytics" tab, then click on "Conversion Analytics". If the testing process was successful, you should see a conversion pending. By clicking the "+" button next to it, you can see that the conversion is marked as "testing."
- If you have successfully completed the conversion test, congratulations! The integration is working, and you can move on to the next step.

To enable price notifications for all our shoppers to know when you have discounts, we need a list of the SKUs for the products you have listed on Recommend. Please provide us with the SKUs or XML product feed as soon as possible, so we can proceed with the integration process. Once we have received this information, we will update your account, and your webshop will be fully integrated with the Recommend platform.
